Privacy protection is a very serious issue of current electronic identity solutions used in e government. The current technologies and the ways of their implementation create as their side effect serious threats to citizens’ privacy. The privacy risks grow dramatically with the increasing number of citizens and length of time in use.
ALUCID is a new concept uses no personal data for electronic identity. The validity of the identifiers used is very limited in space and time. The built-in principles drastically decrease risks of personal information data mining relating to use of electronic identity.
